I had such a great weekend with some of my closest friends! (minus two of my Washington bridesmaids – missed you guys!) We spent the whole weekend hanging out and a relaxing Saturday tubing down the Canon River. I can’t thank my sister and friends enough for putting together such a perfect weekend for me. My aunt Barb was kind enough to throw me a shower on Sunday and the gorgeous afternoon was spent on her screen porch with family and friends. Somehow we made it to August and now we’re on the homestretch until September Thirteenth. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to work on our wedding programs and do some packing…

This is a little box I put together to help my girls pick out a beautiful dress to wear for our wedding. It’s been so much fun getting pictures from everyone and seeing all the dresses they find. They are really going to be such a lovely bunch!
We were pretty excited that our Engagement Session and Save the Dates were featured last week on MagnetStreet’s Wedding Blog, Truly Engaging.
We have a lot done for our wedding but sending out our save the dates felt the most official to me. Getting those out in the mail seemed to make it all the more real. We were so excited to share our date with family and friends! It was both exciting and daunting to design our wedding stationery. When you are a designer, sometimes designing for yourself is the hardest. I’ve done so many other invitations, but it’s a whole other story when it’s your own wedding. I am so happy with how they turned out and can’t wait to share the rest of our wedding stationery!
