This December there is going to be a new Naumann around! I am 14 weeks along and baby’s doing good. We are excited to spend the summer and the next 6 months awaiting our little one!
Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from Him. Like arrows
in the hands of a warrior are children born
in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose
quiver is full of them. Psalm 127:3-5
We have been married for six months now and it’s crazy how long ago our wedding seems. I wrote about our day and shared some photos on Truly Engaging, but have yet to really post anything about it here. It was wonderful and perfect and went by so incredibly fast. We have the best family and friends who made the day run smoothly, an amazingly talented photographer who truly let us relax and know that everything was in good hands, and incredible food that we thoroughly enjoyed. Who says you don’t eat on your wedding day??! and I had the man who has been my best friend for the last 10 years by my side. We were blessed with beautiful weather and completely overwhelmed with the love and joy that surrounded us.
In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and His love is perfected in us. I John 4:10-12
I wanted to blog almost every image from that day and I tried and failed to contain myself. I shared some (ok, alot!) of our favorite photos after the break.
I haven’t posted any of my personal designs for awhile. Besides our wedding stationery I haven’t taken on many projects, so I had fun creating some personal stationery for and inspired by my sister. It’s so nice to get a personal letter and the mail and my sister is great at sending notes and letters to family and friends.
And what letter wouldn’t be complete without Harry Potter stamps?!
It’s been so great to see pictures from our wedding day, and we are pretty excited to have our wedding featured on MagnetStreet’s blog. More to come later, but for now here is a little preview.
We were pretty darn impressed with ourselves for our Halloween costumes this year. Rocking the same suit, shirt, tie and dress from high school! Those crazy kids had no idea what was in store for them. So much has changed over the last six years and I’m so happy that now I’m married to my banquet date!
